AutoFormat

All functions have the last parameter of AutoFormat of the default value TRUE.

If the value is TRUE, then the add-on automatically resizes the result of the function with overwriting contents of any target cell, effectively automatically converting the function to a range formula. The results are also pre-formatted to the excel types, e.g. dates are formatted as Excel Dates.

If the value is FALSE, the result of the function is NEITHER automatically resized NOR pre-formatted and the user has to specify the function as a range formula.

The default formatting codes can be adjusted via the Options window.

NOTE: AutoFormat value is ignored if the function is nested, i.e. its results are parameters of another function. For example, the IC's AutoFormat value is ignored in the call =SPCORREL(IC("^DJI"))
